When you hear the word "fitness", the thought of food deprivation, backbreaking exercises, and boring training hours may come to mind. That is a common misconception that I would like to shatter. Of course, if you eat burgers, fried chicken and pizza morning til evening, you have to do drastic changes. And that would require major adjustment. You certainly need to be more physically active. A 30-minute daily exercise is good, but you have to do more to lose weight or meet certain fitness goals. Exercise may be repetitive so you need some form of guidance so you can sustain the physical activity without boring yourself to death. I have a suggestion. Why not take up a sport and actually enjoy your way to fitness? Yup, hitting two birds with one stone! For example, a client of mine enjoys running. She decided to take it more seriously, following a training plan and treadmill recommendations from here. I can see that she happily works on being fit and healthy. I am even happier! You see, a work-and-play combination is possible!
